Zygbotics Investment Page

One of the many reasons we’re excited about the future of Zygbotics is the chance to become a market leader in a relatively undeveloped field. Did you know that while the European Union and South Korea have each committed $1 billion for robotics research, non-defense robotics research funding in the United States is only around $50 million?

This for a market that’s expected to be worth $15 billion in just six years. One market analyst says that by 2015, Americans will spend as much on personal robotics as they would on a new car.

Yet, other than rare exceptions like iRobot, there are few companies ready to take advantage of this emerging market. At Zygbotics we have assembled a talented team of experts from the non-profit, software and robotics fields in an attempt to create a knowledge-based approach to understanding the technological, socio-cultural, and educational dimensions of the expanding humanoid robotics industry.

One important aspect of Zygbotics’ business model is our revolutionary attempt to merge the fields of social media and robotics through The Twitbotics Project. By allowing people to build their own robots with a standardized platform, this effort will democratize the robotics experience. No longer will personal robotics be the domain of technicians. Zygbotics will make personal robotics much more ubiquitous and user-friendly.

Zygbotics is seeking savvy, forward-thinking investors who recognize the potential of the personal robotics industry and the rewards of making robotics development more accessible.
